Overview
Press M to open the map. It covers the Highmere Region — the town and the areas built around it — in a north-up World or Region view.
- Move around the map with WASD, the mouse wheel or by dragging. These only move the map: your character doesn’t move or act, and the game is never paused.
- The map shows only names that already exist in the world; it doesn’t invent street names.
- A legend lets you filter what is shown, including Party members.
- You can place your own waypoints. They are stored on your computer only and never sent anywhere.
Party on the map
Your party’s members appear as small green dots with their names, grey if they have died. A position is shared only with your own party, only outdoors, and only if that player allows it in Social › Privacy › Party sees me on the map (on by default).
Discovery (planned)
Landmark discovery — a LOCATION DISCOVERED banner and a one-time experience reward for reaching notable places — is built but switched off until the list of places and their rewards is approved. Discoveries will be saved per character and will never pay out twice.
