Overview
A slender, long-legged antelope of the open grassland — dusty tawny coat and tall, curved, naturally hollow horns. When the wind crosses them they sound a soft, hollow note, like breath across the mouth of a bottle.
Behaviour
Windhorns graze the open grassland in herds. Their tall, curved horns are naturally hollow, and when the wind crosses them they sound a soft, hollow note. Alarmed, a Windhorn signals its herd and flees. It defends itself only when cornered or struck — with a horn thrust, or a hind kick at something behind it.
