Overview
A monstrous vulture-like bird — hooked beak, long ragged wings, dark brown and charcoal feathers, a hunched neck and sharp talons.
Behaviour
The Carrion Kite is mostly passive. It threatens anyone who lingers at its feeding site and fights back if attacked. In a fight it circles overhead out of melee reach — arrows and spells still hit it — then dives with its talons, lands and fights on the ground with its beak for a few seconds, and takes off again.
